Paul Palmer

Palmer is Heartland's Cosmetic Surgery Coordinator and, with Stephanie Brown, operates Heartland's Medical Skin Care and Laser Center.  He has been with us for several years and has been instrumental in the concept of our Luxury Spa Surgery Suite experience.

Originally from Dubuque, Iowa, Palmer's original training is in Hair Design and Makeup Artistry which are collaborative arts with Plastic Surgery.

His notable career prior the Heartland included Hair and Makeup for photo shoots for Halston and other major designers, as well as for movies including Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure and Hellraiser.  He was twice voted Arizona Hair Stylist of the Year. 

Since joining Heartland, Palmer has had advanced training in Obagi Skin Care; Obagi Blue Peel and Revitalized Peels; Laserscope Lasers at their National Training Site; Candela Lasers; and the cutting edge Cutera Laser Systems.

Under license of the State of Iowa and in collaboration with Dr. Cherny, Palmer operates our lasers for non ablative skin tightening and rejuvenation, hair removal, and vein and scar treatment.  Additionally, Palmer closely monitors patients in the Obagi Skin Care Program and performs Obagi Blue Peels.  As Cosmetic Surgery Coordinator he works closely with Dr. Cherny in patient teaching, facial skin analysis, and procedural scheduling.
